Poem: Interference

“Our faith will be tested but we must leave all up to Him.”

The enemy too hears when we pray

So watch out I say!

He loves to degrade us when we are gracious.

Anything to deter us from our purpose.

When we fight for God and blessings internally,

The evil one strikes and tries to enter our space provokingly.

We ought to be wise; take control of our thoughts.

Draw a line of His blood around our homes

And chase that spirit of anger and interference from our dome.

Pick up the Bible and reintroduce His words.

Remember His promise…

And live with confidence and solace.

Expose or deflect the evil force, we must.

By lifting our voices with praise for what is not.

Grace is a part of us that must shine.

Like a beam on top of a hill by God’s design.

The Devil wants us deflated, rejected, depressed and disappointed.

By choosing our behavior, we show we are God’s anointed.

Soldiers are paid but God’s warriors are made

And tempered through the Holy Spirit for the escapade.

Our job is to improve ourselves, love Him

And allow our hearts to be engulfed with His love to the brim.

The journey exists to propel us into real bliss.

A messy situation will one day become a testimony

To help someone else along their own journey.

Whatever the interference, have faith and perseverance!
