The Morvant-Laventille Catholic community gathered to celebrate not just a milestone in years but a lifetime of love, faith, and cherished memories – the 100th birthday of Nellie Jagdeo, a beloved mother of 4, grandmother of 20, great-grandmother of 21, great-great grandmother of one and devoted member of the Catholic Church.

Born February 28, 1924, in Success Village, Laventille, she has touched countless lives with her unwavering faith, boundless love, and timeless wisdom. Whether lending a helping hand to those in need or sharing words of wisdom with the younger generation, she continues to inspire and uplift all who cross her path.

From her earliest days, Nellie radiated a warmth and kindness that drew people to her. She learned the values of hard work, compassion, and community that would shape her journey through the decades. She has been the cornerstone of her family, providing love, guidance, and unwavering support through life’s joys and challenges.
