Lord, I am a forgiving person but…
I cannot forgive THIS…
-with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
Lord, you know I want to serve you in those I meet but…
Not this ONE…
-with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
Lord, I will share with my neighbour but…
He doesn’t seem worthy of my help…
-with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
Lord, I will be a light to those around me but…
This one is not deserving of the light…
-with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

I always want you to grant my request, O Lord, or to pardon my many offenses,
But I am not willing to extend the same level of generosity to others by word or deed.

Loving Father, grant me a heart after Your own Heart so that I may love as You love.
Amen.
