‘Stretch out your hand’.
Mark 3:1 – 6
What is praying about? It is a communion with the Lord that invites us to participate in his life. God waits for us to ask. Ask and he will give, we are told, but we must further cooperate with him.
Today Jesus asks the crippled man to stretch out his hand. That would seem impossible if he was crippled. However, it is important for us to reach out if we want to experience the goodness of God. Prayer is an act of reaching out.
Let us make a firm resolve to pray and to act in service to those in need during this year 2024.
Lord Jesus, I stretch out my hand to you asking for mercy and guidance.
