You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit-fruit that will last.
John 1: 35-42
It was not happenstance that Jesus was in the right place at the right time. This call is for you and for me. As we usher in and embark on our 2024 journey, let us ready ourselves to the call of the Divine Will of the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
For some it may be renunciation of a life that draws away from grace; others it may be a call for consistency in our spiritual lives and for others it may be a deeper journey into the Heart of God.
In all, it is an invitation from the Lord to come and see…God’s call is not generic as is evidenced by Jesus’s personalized call to each Apostle.
For those He predestined, he also called; those He called, He also justified; those He justified, he also glorified. Amen.
