Thursday December 28th: Holy Innocence

” Stay there until I tell you.”

Matthew 2: 13 -18

I does think of poor Joseph. Yuh pick up a lil cute smallie, she real nice and thing, then bam! She pregnant! How? You doh even know. Then ah angel tell yuh, “Aie! is God so move with the plan”.
If was me, I would think if is God, it would ah be smooth sailing. Instead, He eh even hook him up with a lil hotel room for the child to born, no, he make him beg ah man to stay in he stable! Pressure!
Then the child born, he doing the mostest and boom the same angel come to say, “Boy, run away from here eh….. dey trying to kill all yuh!” So wham? God cyar just come down and hook we up? Steups!
How long you go stay obedient to that kinda thing?
Holy Innocence should always be a reminder for we, that this Christian journey eh go be easy. Yuh could be holy, yuh could be innocent ….. yuh could even be Christ and it go have somebody out there who want to hurt you.
Knowing and listening to the voice of God is the key to our Christian survival!
