”But how can this be?”
Luke 1: 26-38
The virtue of Faith in God and being open to experiencing the impossible, are necessary for our spiritual growth. Dare to believe and we will experience miracles, signs and wonders✨
God chose Mary, a humble virgin, for this special mission.
“How can this be??” Mary asked.
Because God declares it to be, through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Like our Blessed Mother, we too should allow the power of God to be manifest through us, whenever He chooses us and whatever He chooses us for.
Further on in Luke’s Gospel, verse 45, Elizabeth said to Mary, “Blessed is she who believed that the promise made by the Lord will be fulfilled.” Hallelujah ‼️
May our faith in God allow hope for miracles to be manifest in and through us. And may God’s unwavering love completely saturate us.
Lord Jesus, help us to believe in Your promises. Help us to follow the example of Your Blessed Mother; to believe You, trust You and open ourselves to being Your hand-servants, O God. Let Your will be done in us. Amen
