Tuesday December 19th: Look for angels; be an angel

*”Then there appeared to him the angel of the Lord.”

Luke 1:5-25

Many times, we pray for something, and it does not come so we give up praying. This may or may not have been the case with Zechariah. We need to trust God and his timing and his guidance. Zechariah certainly did that.

God sends angels to us with messages every day. I really do believe this. They come in many forms, people, animals and especially in children. We need to look for the angels around and we need to be angels as well.

Lord Jesus, thank you for coming to us and being incarnated in your mother through the message of an angel. Help us to see the angels around us and to be angels to others. Amen
