It was so in the beginning. It was made clear that someone will prepare the way. Someone will arise. Someone must make straight paths for Him. Will it be you?
Like an arrow He will enter our space. Like a drone He is breaking into our hearts as the whole civilization struggling to re-learn how to be kind to our neighbours. God on both sides. It hard to be kind. Remember who was kind to you today.
Some leaders carve a crooked path; that leads from a crooked tongue and a crooked style. Yuh cyar carry land with you; that land is not yours. Be grateful for a burial spot. Come and wash away all this ancestral guilt. Come to the waters. Call Putin, call Netanyahu, come all you aggressor generals. Come and wash yuh eyes in the pool of Siloam.
People know they toting load. Lay yuh burden down by the riverside and follow war no more. Drop what yuh doing and hustle to the water. This guilt too heavy. Be baptised by John.
