The Lion of the tribe of Judah has conquered. War and death shall be no more.
Luke 21: 5-11
We may say, certainly Jesus is speaking about now, for it seems every word is being fulfilled as we read these lines.
We must prepare ourselves. We may not live to witness the final battle, but most, if not all of us reading this scripture, shall experience our particular judgement, as the Church expounds.
Our benevolent Father is giving us numerous opportunities to prepare. How do we prepare? Partaking in the Sacraments, particularly the Eucharist and Reconciliation, daily examination of our conscience and growing in holiness by doing God’s Will as we are called according to our state in life.
These are trying times but in God’s Divine Wisdom we were created for such a time as this. Be comforted that grace will be made available and heaven will not abandon us.
Let us hold fast until the end for God shall make all things new.
Amen
