Online book study: Theology of the Body for Beginners

Theology of the Body (TOB) offers a clear awareness of what it means to be human. TOB enunciates who we are, why we are on this planet Earth, the way to truly love, how we can discover real joy.

Last year, BOMA-TT in collaboration with the Archdiocesan Family Life Commission (AFLC) and the Office of Youth Ministry (OYM) launched ‘A Deeper Dive into the Theology of the Body’ to assist persons such as catechists and parents who have had some degree of knowledge of the TOB to learn more about this Christian anthropology.

The ‘Deeper Dive’ ran from July to December, was both online and in-person, and included several dynamic guest speakers.

The programme received fantastic feedback from the participants. Some comments included: “Excellent session”; “It was thought-provoking”; “Church needs a place where young people could ask hard questions and get the answers (guidance) they seek”; “It was a pleasure journeying with you all. Thank you to the TOB team”.

This year, BOMA-TT in collaboration with the AFLC is offering a book study of Theology of the Body for Beginners by Christopher West.

Anyone 16 years old and over is welcome to attend this online book study to explore the basics of TOB. The study is scheduled to commence on Wednesday, September 13, 6 – 8 p.m. and continue weekly on Wednesdays until November 15. Registration is open and closes Tuesday, September 12. Cost: $50.

To register, contact BOMA-TT at 384-1659 or naturalfertility@catholictt.org
