Trinity TV’s Telethon 2023: A Week of Entertainment and Giving

The Trinity Telethon 2023 is on for a week, starting this Sunday, September 3, and ending next Sunday, September 10. It is the Trinity Television Network’s main fundraiser and this year is special as the station is celebrating 30 years.

In keeping with the tagline ‘That You May Have Life’, The telethon’s theme is 3, 2, 1…. Life.

The Living Water Community started the Trinity Television Network in 1993 and it is “still going strong,” said Lisa Bhajan, Station Manager in a video ahead of the telethon. “We’ve been able to keep going as a non-commercial station due to the generous support of donors and sponsors over the years,” she stated. The annual fund-raising telethon enables viewers to pledge their support and in thanksgiving, viewers see the “best entertainment” the country has to offer. This year is 20 years for the fundraising telethon.

Bhajan reminded viewers that 10 years ago the round-the-clock, seven days a week cable channel Trinity TV was launched. She said, “This year in true trinitarian style we are celebrating three anniversaries in one”.

The telethon starts with a live concert at the Living Water Chapel with live entertainment 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. persons can join in-person or view on television. It continues on Trinity TV Monday, September 4, Tuesday, September 5, Thursday September 7 and Friday September 8, at 8 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. On Wednesday, September 6 there is a Live Telethon Prayer meeting 6 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. at the Living Water Chapel or on Trinity TV.

The finale of the telethon is Sunday, 10 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
