JESUS EXPLOSION – My First Experience

“Shine in the WORLD as LIGHTS, as You Offer Them the WORD OF LIFE.”

Philippians 2:15-16

I heard about the Jesus Explosion over the years but for one reason or another, I didn’t receive an account of anyone’s experience. Hence, I decided to write about my experience to encourage and inform others about this life-changing weekend. Our shepherds are working diligently through the power of the Holy Spirit, to help nourish and feed the flock.

The programme’s organisation and content were excellent. In just three days, it seemed like a three-month course. During these turbulent times, I was thrilled to receive, be purified, grow, comprehend, love, share, be healed, and be present with my Lord. A place where I did not want to leave, a realm I loved. The eagerness to save souls was apparent and so infectious! I realized, this is life.

In summary, this is what it included: secured parking, spacious air-conditioned hall, proper seating, ushers, cafeteria, washrooms, counselling and prayer rooms, workshops (11 topics to choose from),talks, Mass, Adoration, procession and Ministry with the Blessed Sacrament, life-giving Praise and Worship, Confession, petitions to the Blessed Virgin Mary, testimonies, breaks and lunch. It was all amazing!

Father Ian Taylor is the Spiritual Director. There were many other priests and we had the opportunity to be blessed with the presence of Bishop Neil Scantlebury, from Barbados and Gregory Goedgedrag, from Aruba. This summary is little, compared to the impact of each Talk and Mass.

There is a Revival on September 24, 2023 at the same place, Trinity East College, Trincity. As the sweet Spirit leads, try and attend. The change we want to see starts with us, nothing is more important than a person’s salvation:

* We become Holy through our imperfections
* To shine is a command from God
* Everything comes under the Lordship of God
