The Office of Youth Ministry hosted a Laudato Si’ Awareness Day at the San Fernando Hill on Saturday, May 20. The Laudato Si’ Week 2023 was held May 21 to 28 worldwide.
The awareness event included the screening of Pope Francis’ documentary The Letter, prayer and devotion, and a time for connection with nature.
Other organisations involved in the event were: the Franciscan Institute for Personal and Family Development, a Ministry of the Sisters of the Sorrowful Mother; the Catholic Commission for Social Justice, and the Laudato Si’ Movement, T&T Chapter.
The Living Water Community, the World Community for Christian Meditation-Caribbean, Gillian Rooks Nature Photography, and the Environmental Management Authority through its Recyclable Solid Waste Collection Project, also known as the iCARE Project also participated.
