Poem: The Devil is a liar

Stop! Don’t listen to negative thoughts

He just wants us distraught

Think! What is he planting in our heads?

That way of life is dead!

Haven’t emerged in full bloom

Oh how the devil frets when we boom

Please, feelings must not dictate our day

Allow the Holy spirit’s posture along the way.

Our chains are gone,

Satan is done!

Father is close to the broken hearted

Don’t be outsmarted.

The joy of the Lord is our strength

Continue on the journey, Just repent

Praise your way out of pain

Don’t let it prosper, your king reigns.
