The Transfiguretion of Jesus is a powerful and significant event in the Christian faith. Here Jesus revealed his divinity to Peter, James, and John, who witnessed his transformation on the high mountain
The appearance of Moses and Elijah, representing the law and the prophets, conversing with Jesus further emphasized his divine nature and mission.
Peter’s desire to stay in that moment and build tents for Jesus, Moses, and Elijah shows his attachment to the experience, a reminder to us to savour and appreciate the holy moments in our lives.
Jesus’ transfiguration is not just an event that happened in the past, but a reminder of the power and presence of God in our lives.
Let us remember the importance of recognizing His divinity and authority in our lives. It is easy to get caught up in the awe and wonder of his teachings and miracles, but it is essential to remember that He is the Son of God and that we must listen to Him.
Moreover, we must also trust that Jesus will comfort and guide us, even in moments of fear and uncertainty.
