Our beautiful islands Trinidad and Tobago are full of depth, culture, and people of many races. With this kind of diversity comes a mix of how things are and how they should be done. Many traditions have been handed down and followed unquestioned.
We must not allow our cultures and traditions to be issues for discord between communities; rather these should be used to manifest love for our own and others, as this would be the true Christ-like thing to do.
Heavenly Father, give me the grace to see things from different perspectives, allowing me to become slow to judge. Help me to realise that others may have a different way of living their lives. The life you intended for us is one where we seek to know, love and serve You; for your command is to simply love as You love.
