“Stand brave near Him who never sleeps and hold tight to His right hand that leads.”
Mark 4:35-41
In recent times, we and our world’s reality have faced and battled a series of raging waves that continue to relentlessly ripple through our lives.
These “waves”, much like the sea swells that threatened the lives of Jesus’ disciples, have plunged countless into agonizing and paralyzing depths. Our boats, we ourselves, while already overloaded with painful cargo, have been battered by an unending storm,
My God! Has the thunder muffled our cries? God! Are you not awake?
To truly appreciate the answers to these questions, we must remember that the essence of our faith lies in our unrestricted and infinite ability to place our load in the hands of Him, to whom it belongs, and to have absolute reliance on Him, who grants clarity and direction.
Thus, we must trust blindly our God that always sees, stand brave near Him who never sleeps and hold tight to His right hand that leads. The battle to consistently envision the wondrous light He has promised, amidst the darkness, is not only the ultimate test of faith, but also the journey we are called to trek:
The Christian Journey.
