Luke 16:9-15

The temptation to walk in the shades of grey is greater when you are faced with a financial decision that seems to ‘make or break’ as the stakes are high.
Desperate to hold on to material security or fear of someone significant thinking less of us, may influence us and others to make a dishonest choice. At this point, we must cry out to God to come with His Spirit of fearlessness and righteousness.
In the world of work and caring for a family, these encounters are frequent. I remind myself that a moment of dishonest gain can never equal eternity. Knowing that God is taking care of every aspect of my life, gives me the courage to reject that which the world favours.
Life on earth is a series of tests and trials. Heaven is our true home. Remain fixed on Christ and never waiver.
