Thursday October 6th: Ask, Seek and Knock

‘So, I say to you, Ask, and it will be given to you’

Luke 11: 5-13

Jesus reminds us that Prayer demands a certain level of Practice, Perseverance, Positivity and Persistence.

I invite you dear sisters and brothers to look back to times when you did ask and it was given, sought and you found, knocked and it was opened to you. Also recall when you were not given directly, when you did not find immediately, and when the door remained shut for a period longer than you anticipated. Intercession helps deepen our relationship with our Heavenly Father. It is an open conversation, a one-on -one faith strengthening exercise. How blessed are we!

In all humility, I ask the Lord for that childlike faith and trust, in Him and His love for me. I pray for the ability to trust Him when my prayers are not answered and ask for His supreme gift of the Holy Spirit.
