Celebrating Mary at Arima Boys’ RC

May is the month of Mary and so on the morning of Tuesday, May 31, Arima Boys’ RC Primary celebrated the feast of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary during the school’s morning assembly.

A procession followed with some boys of different age groups led by class teachers and the school’s acting principal Navin Harry to the grotto to present Mary with flowers: assorted colours, sizes and types. The remaining boys sang Marian hymns whilst this activity was being performed.

The morning came to an end with a brief discussion by acting principal Harry with students asking Mary through their prayer to intercede for all parents, teachers, pupils, schools, our country and the world.

Prior to the above day mentioned, the school held whole school assembly where the students were informed of the Blessed Virgin Mary by teachers of the school’s religious committee.
