How comforting to know we will never be turned away by Jesus.
John 6: 35-40
This is one of the Gospels that always comforts me. It is in this Gospel I feel a personal relationship with God and I feel safe and feel God is personally providing for me.
I thank God for these assurances set forth in this Gospel. I will never be hungry. I ask God how can I help in his work to make sure no one goes hungry? Do I do enough? Can I do more. I remember the beatitudes and I pray for strength to assist in feeding God’s people.
This Gospel also promises me eternal life if I believe in the Son. Father, help me always to believe in Jesus. Let me always try to do Your will.
My prayer is: Father please remind me always to do your will. Let me always praise and thank God for all of my earthly comforts and the ability to believe in Jesus.
