How do I show I love God above everything else?
Luke 14: 25- 33
This is a tall order. I say I love God. How do I show this? Psychologists would say, “How do I operationalize this love? How do I show I love God above everything else?”
I try to spend time with God. I tried to figure out what would be the minimum amount of time I can spend with God or doing His will each day to show I really love God.
I settled on Morning and Evening Prayer. Thank God for technology, I use the Universalis website which simplifies that. Evening prayer was proving to be a struggle until I got together with two friends via WhatsApp.
I meditate, with The World Community for Christian Meditation (WCCM). I try to love God’s people by volunteering. I am not finding time to read Scripture and good Catholic literature.
I pray for discernment. How much time is enough? If I give up everything, how would I eat? Dear God, please guide
