Maria Thinks: “Stepping out in boldness”

Stepping into this week with boldness and with confidence …

Walking with a little more ‘oomph’ in my step because “my Daddy is a King, so I am royalty”.

A lot of times, we lose ourselves while trying to please, and rescue others. I am not saying that is wrong but who is going to rescue you? This is the question I always ask, and the answer I seem to get is, “God got me”.

Matthew 6:26: “Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?”

So, what does that mean?

This means that I will be cared for even when I think I won’t be. It means leaving behind my human feeling of needing reassurance and trusting that my every need will be catered for regardless of the situation. I always think once what you desire is in alignment with what He wants for your life, you shall receive it.

Life is about balance, caring for yourself, and caring for others. So as this week approaches, practice some self-care while knowing Jesus has you.
