He recommended Catholics familiarise themselves by reading the series of articles on synod and synodality carried in the Catholic News since August 1 written by Fr Don Chambers, General Secretary of the Antilles Episcopal Conference as well as view Shepherd’s Corner. The programme is carried on Thursdays at 8pm via Trinity TV platforms.
The Archbishop also devoted three of his ‘Conversations with Archbishop J’ columns in the Catholic News to synodality: CLICK HERE
“It [the synod] is everyone speaking and listening to God and speaking together so we find the right way for us to become Church together for whatever God is asking us,” Archbishop Gordon said after the Mass at the Living Water Community Chapel last Sunday, October 10.
Pope Francis launched the Synod process in Rome on that day with Holy Mass. On Saturday 9, there was a Moment of Reflection for the start of the synodal process at the New Synod Hall in Rome.
