A Catholic Foodie: Golden Garlic Pepper Chicken

This simple garlic pepper chicken dish made by the wonderful team at Klamps catering is made with a few ingredients and can be cooked under 30 minutes, which makes it ideal to cook after a busy day at work. It can be served with a salad, or cauliflower rice. Try it and let us know how it turned out.



2 lb chicken breast / any chicken pieces you wish

1 tbsp soy sauce

2 tbsp oyster sauce

½ cup ketchup

½ tsp mustard

¼ tsp table salt

¼ tsp black pepper

2 tbsp sugar

2 large bell peppers

2 tsp garlic

2 tsp hot chili peppers

1 large onion

1 large carrot

1 tsp celery

1 cup of oil



1. Fry chicken in hot oil.

2. Combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, ketchup, mustard, salt, black pepper and sugar to make a sauce.

3. Chop the bell pepper, onions and carrots in cubes.

4. Finely chop celery, garlic and chili peppers.

5. Stir fry all veggies until almost caramelised, then add in the sauce mixture.

6. Place the meat into the pot with veggies and sauce, make sure the meat is evenly coated with the ingredients.
