Jesus called you
Luke 9:1-6
The greatest privilege entrusted by God to you is to carry in you, Jesus the Good News, to those you meet. You are especially chosen by Him to tell others that Jesus is alive, and to carry out the command to heal, cure the sick, raise the dead and cast out demons.
Jesus has implanted in you his authority to “Go” to the ends of the earth to witness and heal(Acts 1:8). He said, “Take nothing for the journey, shake the dust off your feet”, so you will not be contaminated by the worldly things to prevent the kingdom of God, the Good News you carry, from reaching others.
Like the twelve, Jesus has called you and entrusted to you the work the Father has given him. The mission of the twelve is now your mission.You are called to proclaim the Good News today to everyone, and bring healing to those who are downtrodden.
Ask the Holy Spirit today to help you to answer the call of God, so you can go from village to village proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ.
