“I put it to you: Is it permitted on the Sabbath to do good, or to do evil; to save a life or to destroy it?”
Luke 6:6-11
Jesus’ actions and words were often misinterpreted and misjudged by those who did not know or recognize Love. This however, did not deter His mission to set the world on fire with Love in tangible ways.
Often, I too have found my actions misinterpreted and misjudged but my desire to be like Jesus means that I must ‘do good anyway’ . As a Catholic , corporal works of mercy are as equally important as spiritual works of mercy since faith and good works are required.
You see as Mother Theresa beautifully stated, in the ‘Final Analysis ‘ it was never between you and them but you and God -so do good anyway.
