I learned to be a good human just by observing them.
Mathew 9:35 – 10.1
I thank God for great priests. I learned to be a good human just by observing them.
My first Parish Priest was Fr. C. In my childhood, he was a model of kindness, compassion and generosity. He drove this little green Austin filled with altar servers and old ladies on Sundays.
This one priest drove to four country parishes, miles apart, in central Trinidad every Sunday. I never heard him complain. He was always smiling. I recently had to go to two of those parishes and I complained about the state of the roads, the distance and everything I could imagine. I remembered Fr. C. and had an attitude change, right away.
Today, I know some young priests, made from the same mold. For example: Fr. C. who goes to look for parishioners if he does not see them at Mass.
