How do you define a mother’s love? Would you be the person you are today if you had a different mother?
There are so many different ways that God could have brought His only begotten Son into this world, but he chose Mary. Although Jesus was the Son of God he also chose to be obedient to Mary. What personal traits did Mary have that God wanted in the woman who raised his Son?
This is why today we also celebrate the feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Mary was and is the conduit for our salvation. If God the father and the Son chose her, then we should too.
Today I pray that if God uses us to bring something good in this world, be it, a child, a piece of art, a poem or a business, may we allow the Holy Spirit to do its work through us. May we receive the graces needed to bow to the will of God.
