“In a little while you will see me no more, and then after a little while you will see me.”
John 16:16-20
These words of today’s Gospel take on a hopeful meaning in these COVID times. It is especially so for me having lost my eldest child. To believe that one day soon I will see him again. Jesus is preparing his disciples for his imminent death and resurrection. Our faith is hopeful , to believe in the communion of saints is to believe that we never really part ways, in a little while you will see me. We pray for all those who have lost loved ones during these times that Jesus Christ will console you with the promise that soon you will be reunited.
