Archbishop Jason Gordon is one of nine speakers at an online international Ecumenical Novena to the Holy Spirit which starts on Ascension Thursday, May 13. ‘The Mystery of the Blessed Trinity’ is the title of Archbishop Gordon’s reflection on Saturday, May 15. The People of Praise community will be leading the service.
Awakening the Domestic Church and CMAX Media have partnered with Christian ministries from around the world to record ecumenical prayer meetings to help Christians prepare for Pentecost. The two-hour prayer meetings will be available for free on the www.Pentecost.cmax.tv website starting May 13; each recording will be rebroadcast for 24 hours. On Pentecost Sunday, all nine prayer meetings will be posted on the site for one year.
The event concludes with the Catholic Charismatic Renewal International Service, through the Commission for Christian Unity, online Pentecost Vigil celebration Saturday, May 22, 9 p.m. (Rome time GMT+2). It takes place live at four locations: Rome, Jerusalem, Buenos Aires, and Topeka, Kansas.
