Give your life to a worthwhile cause and witness its value multiply like loaves.
John 10:11-18
The Father’s heart quickens. He notices me quietly among sheep. The smell of distress sting the air and their eyes bulge and grow moist with the fear that kills. My heart near bursting say run; but I stay grounded while the panic eased and they continued nimbly grazing on the lush hillside.
Life is not lived buried like a treasure. Taking risks for my sheep helps me appreciate the value of life. Give your life to a worthwhile cause and witness its value multiply like loaves. I shall not want. Yes, I shall not want. I receive life that I now lay down to pick it up again in an enhanced form. If I don’t lay down my life I am left hanging. If I lay it down halfway, I am not nearly there.
