The concert, produced by local top tenor and impresario John Thomas promises to bring together top tier quality of performance, musicianship and craftmanship that Trinidad and Tobago has to offer.
This inspiring concert being held under the patronage of Archbishop Jason Gordon will bring to life the message of belief—one of hope, peace, and love to all, within 24 stunning performances by celebrated artistes including singers: young prodigy Soprano Clarice Beeput, Spinto-Soprano Lesley Lewis, Mezzo-Soprano Hermina Charles, Tenors John Thomas and Jake Salloum and Baritone Aaron-Mark Alleyne.
The evening’s selections would be accompanied by a live orchestra conducted by Boyd Gibson, including pianist Eunmi Choi, string quartet (Pierre Leiba, Inge Schluer, David Webber, and Chelsea Fensom), flautist Martina Chow, trumpeter Rellon Brown, guitarist Judah Bharath and The Lydian Steel Ensemble (Tonya Perouze, Joseph Knights, Astra Noel, Kwesi Moore and Dennis Roberts).
“This pandemic has been devastating for many of us,” Thomas said. “Amongst the hardest hit economically have been artistes, creatives and those who provide the infrastructure for artistes and creatives. This concert provides not only some sort of income for our performers, but also gives us a space to do what we were created to do. For this we are eternally grateful.”
Come be a part of this inspirational evening, with soulful music, classics and more for all audiences, including your favourites, Panis Angelicus, Jesu Joy, the timeless Our Father among many other favourites sure to transport you to heavenly heights and certainly leave you in good spirits.
Thomas advises that the show’s run time is one and a half hours, with no intermission.
“We are taking every precaution to keep all our patrons safe as the church will be fully sanitised before the show. Security will be on-site, ample secured parking is made available” and a team of ushers led by Linda Mentor will be on-site to conduct all COVID-19 protocols. The church will be seen like it has never before, decked with flora and fauna by Alison Lee Loy. Expect state of the art lighting designed by Sean Ottley supplied by Lollabee Entertainment and quality sound mixed by Victor Donawa.”
