Praise motorcade across the nation

Heavy showers last Sunday did not prevent members of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal (CCR) from gathering for a musical praise motorcade in every vicariate. The event was one of the CCR’s first in a series of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary that will extend well into 2021.

Along the routes, participants offered prayers for the various communities.

Meeting points included St John’s RC Church, Diego Martin and the Church of the Assumption, Maraval in the north; St George’s College Ground, Barataria and Auzonville Road, Tunapuna in the Suburban Vicariate; Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church, Tacarigua, Santa Rosa RC Church, and the Word of Life Community, Arima in the east; and Tabaquite RC Church, Mayo RC Church and Ato Boldon Stadium, Couva in central.

There was a motorcade as far as Toco, passing through Rampanalgas, Cumana, Gran Riviere ending in Matelot.

The south was not left out as the route included Point Fortin, La Brea, La Romaine, Siparia and the nation’s second city, San Fernando.
