Luke 21: 1-4
Loving God is what Jesus is looking for.
Living love is more that just being loved. It is radical. It is reflected in our giving. The theology of love is we love God and others above all things for His sake.
Jesus found the offering of two coins was more than what the rich gave.
The widow’s response showed she knew God who would supply all her needs. That response is what God is looking for. He looks at the heart.
God wants all our heart, soul, mind. He doesn’t want us to be distracted by the things around us, but to look to him alone.
The widow loved God with all her heart and all her soul. She gave her all and that is what God desires of us.
Jesus sits and looks at the heart of his children, he sees our heart. He wants us to give him all of our heart so his glory may be seen.
He wants our love.
