We begin our weekly journey around the Eucharistic where He renews the gift of His love.
Matthew 25: 14-30
‘Trust’ is the starting point of all our journeys,
the bridge stretching across moments of uncertainty
and the roof sheltering us wherever we make our dwelling.
Like a silent, invisible force, trust binds servants to their master,
children to their parents, and in the hour of need
draws us closer to the God of life.
Trust is the light that guides our footsteps.
On the way, we discover that far greater than our trust in Him
Is God’s trust in us. He constantly calls us by name.
He placed His entire creation in our hands, transforming our humble lives
Into missionaries of His love, bearers of hope and joy.
We begin our weekly journey around the Eucharistic table
where He renews the gift of His love.
How often do we bury this precious gift
deep in our private lives the moment mass is over.
How often does this heavenly food enrich our daily life,
guide our personal choices, or nourish our social interaction?
Only if we take His precious gift with us into the hills and valleys,
towns and villages, into the hearts and homes of a waiting world,
will His love take root among us, and bear fruit in abundance.
