This question came to mind as I listened to our Archbishop on the television one morning.
I imagined that as we sat in the comfort of our homes, there were people sitting in the square outside of the Cathedral who had not been given the opportunity to hear the words of wisdom.
Would it be possible, I wondered, to erect a giant TV screen on the square, not to advertise alcoholic drinks but rather to educate?
Having spent enormously during the election campaign I imagine that both parties could now join forces against poverty and need.
