Msgr Terrence Montrose celebrates 45 years a priest

GUYANA

Catholic News extends congratulations to Msgr Terrence Montrose on the 45th anniversary of his priestly ordination, August 10.

Over the past four decades, Msgr Montrose has shepherded countless communities across the length and breadth of Guyana and has ministered to thousands of God’s people in almost every life situation.

Msgr Montrose has served as Chancellor and Vicar General of the Diocese of Georgetown. He was conferred the Cacique Crown of Honour by President David Granger at an Investiture Ceremony in 2019. That same year Msgr Montrose was appointed parish priest of Meadow Bank Parish effective December 10. The appointment was in response to Msgr Montrose’s request to take up an assignment that would be less demanding than his present one as vicar general.
