Lisa get me so vex! My blood was boiling! I call Janet an relate she de story, she agree, Lisa like too much bacchanal. I called Jenny cause I needed to vent, so I tell she de whole story too. By Sunday, half de choir done hear the story about what Lisa do and everybody agree that I should stay away from she! So me eh tell she nothing!
So many faith relationships are tarnished and destroyed by gossip. Many Catholics forget that the Bible advises us to talk it out first. Keeping words to ourselves, that we should have shared with someone or sharing words with others instead of with the person, is not what the bible calls us to do. The streets of Trinidad and Tobago are lined with many who left the faith for this reason.
Let us pray to be better and to do better. Let us commit to authentically communicating our thoughts and feelings to our brothers and sisters first.
