July 21st: My Family

Who is my mother? Who are my brothers?

Matthew 12:46-50

Jesus asked these questions which are at the core of Christian living. It is easy to love, forgive and serve those who are our blood family but not so easy to do for those who are not blood family.

Christian living follows the Jesus’ way of life, a life where we are all family and in blood too, the blood of Jesus. Mystics prove to us that we MUST rely on the mystical element of human and divine unity in Jesus in order to live as Jesus called to live. This is why we need Jesus in our lives to give us the graces to love, forgive and serve each person as though they were of our own blood.

Jesus unite us with each other through the power of your blood. Amen.
