What does the Lord see?
Matthew 7:1-5
Daily before us are the words: Racism, Racial inequality, Violence, Oppression.
The world is deeply pained and is responding. What’s your response, what are your thoughts? How have you responded? What are your feelings? What have you said and done to others? What words have we spoken on the matter? What’s our attitude towards our brothers who look different from us, or sometimes look like us?
Yes, we have, and are responding. How we treat others is reflected in how we act, what we say or sometimes, by what we did not say or do.
Am I prejudiced? Look in the mirror, and look at yourself as you are and what do you see? Look at the wrinkles.
Why do we prejudge, leave others out? Hypocrite! If we do not want to be judged, we should not judge others. We all want the Lord to look at us with kindness.
We hope on Judgement Day He will forget all we have done. The message is clear: Don’t judge but pray!
