‘You are not far from the kingdom of God.’
Mark 12: 28-34
Jesus said the man was not far from the Kingdom because he realized that ‘ to know Love’ is to have it all.
Two days ago, I sat in the dark with my soon-to-be adult daughter and listened as she described how empty and purposeless she has felt for a while. I was cautious on how to respond as my teen girls believe that I can never understand. I was drawn back in time when I too felt that way around her age. The Holy Spirit enlightened me, that these feelings disappeared when I completed my first Life in the Spirit Seminar. I shared with her how I was overcome by Love and felt passionate about living after that experience. I recognized that she had not yet experienced Jesus.
Lord, a mother’s heart cries out for her daughter to experience the Trinitarian Love so that she may know that Life is worth living only in You.
