“Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God still and trust in me.”
John 14: 1 – 6.
This passage reflects the love and concern Jesus has for each one of us. In the same way he comforted his disciples and reassured them of a place wherever he is, he does the same for us today.
In the midst of any and every situation we may find ourselves in, Jesus is with us as comfort and reassurance. He comforts us when we are anxious or worried. He reassures us when we are afraid or doubtful.
Jesus is our friend. He walks with us daily. His words to us: “Trust in God still and trust in me”, come out of his personal experience of being loved and cared for by his Heavenly Father. As was done for him, he does for us.
Anxiety and fear can never consume us when we have Jesus at our side. We cannot emphasize enough how much Jesus loves us and shares our journey with us.
