Susie and Pascall Metivier, together with their three daughters and three grandchildren, hosted the Vocations Cup at their home for one week. They got a pleasant surprise at the end of that week. “Having the Vocations Cup at home was a great joy for my family and me. I was hoping to get the Cup in time for my grandson’s First Communion but got it the week before. We prayed together as a family, discussed having the Cup at home, and different ways we could become involved in the Church.”
They then returned the Cup at the next weekend Mass. That weekend, there was a mix-up and the family had to take the Cup back home. “So, we did have it for my grandson’s First Communion and my granddaughter became an altar server,” Susie said. “It’s really an honour having the Vocations Cup at home.”
