Come out and support the Catholic Students Movement (CSM) as they host their 41st Lenten Production ‘Pick a Side’. CSM’s Lenten Production is a family event, put on by students of the UWI, St Augustine.
The production takes place at UWI’s Learning Resource Centre on Saturday, March 7 at 7 p.m. and Sunday 8 at 6 p.m.
Public Relations Officer, Michael Joseph told the Catholic News this year’s play seeks to “bring awareness of the constant struggle some young people face because of peer pressure and what direction they have to go”.
The Lenten production will also focus on core themes of family life, campus life and one’s personal relationship with God.
CSM Vice President and playwright for the 2020 production, Daniel Reyes said, “It’s all going to be done with a comedic and musical twist executed by a dynamic cast of students showcasing their various acting and singing talents. The production promises to be fun for all ages as it highlights key aspects of Catholicism.”
This year, CSM will celebrate their 30-year anniversary.
Tickets are $50 for students and $100 for the general public. For more information contact Avery Herbert 713-8485, Michael Joseph 483-0323 or Daniel Reyes 291-2224.
