Mayaro says thanks

Fr Ango with the Nuncio during the Mass

The return of our Mayaro harvest was met with great enthusiasm and appreciation and has left parishioners  eager to continue to host this memorable tradition.

Formally known to have been an Easter Sunday experience in Mayaro, our harvest was held Sunday, July 28 and just like its former self, attracted patrons from parishes far and near who had the added treat of our clean coastal atmosphere.

Mass was officiated by the Apostolic Nuncio Archbishop Fortunatus Nwachukwu, much to our delight and pleasure.

Even as the weather threatened in the morning period, it cleared up completely for the blessing of stalls and the continuation of the activities of the day. It was an enjoyable day for all who attended.

Fr Simon Peter Ango and the parishioners of St Peter and Paul RC, Mayaro wish to extend sincerest gratitude to our Papal Nuncio, clergy, donors and contributors who gave unconditionally, faithful pilgrims who attended and to the people of Mayaro, all of whom congregated to make the return of Mayaro harvest a resounding success.
