School Of Communications

The Caribbean School of Catholic Communications (CSCC) ended yesterday (August 10) with participants from the region finalising their projects for submission.

This year was a milestone as the school celebrated 25 years. Its main theme since 2010 has been Forming Missionary Disciples in a Digital Age; this year’s sub-theme was ‘SPLASH Caribbean (Save and Protect our Land, Air, Sea and Home)’.  Presenters this year were: Archbishop Jason Gordon, Sr. Angela Ann Zukowski, MHSH, University of Dayton (via ZOOM): Msgr William John-Lewis, Dominica Catholic Radio; Lisa Bhajan, Trinity TV; Mauricio Lopez – REPAM, a Catholic Church network that promotes the rights and dignity of people living in the Amazon, (via ZOOM); Dr Anjani Ganase, Institute of Marine Affairs; Sherry Kennedy-Brownrigg–KBG Strategic Marketing & Communications Management, USA; Tshenelle Bethel-Peters, web/social media officer and Tracy Lewis, Digital Media Manager, Catholic Media Services Ltd; Suzy De Verteuil, Catholic Voices; Victor Donawa, Audioworks; Deborah Jean-Baptiste, The Oratory Foundation.
