Assistance needed with transport during Mission Congress

The Archdiocese of Port of Spain will host the first ever Mission Congress of the Antilles Episcopal Congress (AEC) from September 17–22.

This event marks the official opening, in the Antilles, of the Extraordinary Mission Month 2019 called for by Pope Francis; and seeks to bring together people from the whole of the AEC region i.e. the English, Dutch & French Caribbean people, as we strive to understand what MISSION means for us in the AEC region.

In order to make this event a success and to ensure the well-being of our overseas guests, we need your help in providing transportation for our brothers and sisters to events during the congress. This includes transportation to and from the:

* Airport to residential accommodation

* Accommodation to Centre of  Excellence (Thursday 19, Friday 20 and Saturday 21)

* Queen’s Park Savannah (Sunday 22)

Should your organisation be directly involved in the operation of transport passenger vehicles (maxis, buses, taxis) which provide transport services to the general public or specific groups; or should you be willing to volunteer your services in your private capacity, please contact 645-2902 or email  cbitt@yahoo.com to indicate your:

– Name

– Contact information – phone/email

– Type of vehicle (private car/maxi/bus/taxi)

– Vehicle capacity

– Day/s your services will be available

We know how valuable your time and resources are and would appreciate hearing from you during July. – AEC Mission Congress Organising Committee
