CFC Praise Breakfast 2019

In 2018 Couples for Christ (CFC) had its first Praise Breakfast at St Benet’s Hall.  When the initial idea was conceptualised, we were very excited about it and as the event came around it turned out that there were over 250 persons.

The atmosphere was one of joy and excitement as it encompassed Praise and Worship and fellowship as brothers and sisters broke bread together. It truly was a spirit-filled experience for everyone.

One year later, CFC is having its second Praise Breakfast on June 8 at St Benet’s Hall and the theme for this year is Inspired by the Word, Empowered by the Holy Spirit, “Go, therefore, make disciples of all nations.” (Matt 28:19).

This theme goes to the heart of what CFC is, an evangelising ministry, as our vision statement makes clear: “Families in The Holy Spirit Renewing the Face of the Earth”.

CFC is an international lay apostolate which began in the Philippines in 1981 and has been in T&T since 1998. CFC is commonly referred to as a womb-to-tomb ministry as it caters to the different stages of a person’s life.

There is Couples for Christ for married persons, Kids for Christ for their children, Youth for Christ for the older youths, Singles for Christ for the young adults, Handmaids of the Lord for the ladies whose husbands are not part of CFC, widowed or separated or divorced, and Servants of the Lord for the men whose status are similar to their Handmaids counterpart.

Apart from giving God praise and worship for all the good He has done for us, we are also using this event to raise funds to continue the restoration of St Benet’s Hall.

A ticket costs $150 and can be acquired from David (765-9801, North), Kevon (310-0518, East) and Wesley (793-4439, South).
